What is the "year of manufacture" and why do you ask for it?

The year of manufacture is how we identify the correct body shape and layout for your van — not the year it was registered or the age plate on the number plate. Manufacturers often update a van's internal shape, wheelbox size, or panel layout partway through a model's production run, so two vans with the same name can need different kits depending on when they were built.

You can usually find the manufacture date on your van's VIN plate (often inside the door frame, under the bonnet, or on the chassis) or on your V5C logbook. If you're not sure, get in touch with your registration number or VIN and we'll be happy to confirm the right kit for you.

How does shipping work?

Full details are on our Shipping Policy page, but here's a quick summary:

  • All kits are made to order, so they're manufactured after you place your order rather than shipped from stock.
  • Orders are typically processed and manufactured within up to 4 working days (Monday–Friday, excluding bank holidays).
  • Once dispatched, UK Mainland delivery usually takes 1–3 working days.
  • Shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and delivery location.
  • We currently don't ship to offshore islands, the Scottish Highlands, or Northern Ireland as standard — if that's you, please contact us before ordering as we may be able to help.
  • We generally don't offer international shipping due to the size of our products.

For the full terms, including missed deliveries and damaged parcels, please see the Shipping Policy.

What tools or workshop setup do I need to fit my kit?

Our kits are designed to be fitted in a proper workshop environment using standard tools that a workshop would typically have on hand — things like a drill/driver, jigsaw or router for any trimming, clamps, a tape measure, and basic fixing tools. They're not intended as a driveway or bedroom-floor job.

If you don't have access to a workshop or the right tools, we'd recommend using a professional van conversion fitter to install your kit.

Do your kits come with fixings/fittings?

No — our kits do not include fixings or fittings. This is because the right fixing method depends on your specific van, how the kit is being used, and personal preference (for example, screws vs rivets vs adhesive, and fixing points that avoid wiring looms or structural areas).

Choosing and fitting the correct fixings is down to the individual. If you're at all unsure, we strongly recommend asking a professional fitter for advice before you start. There are also plenty of guides and tutorials online covering ply lining installation and fixing methods.

Can I get my kit without flooring tie-down holes?

Yes. Our kits are available either with flooring tie-down holes or without, so you can choose whichever suits your fitting plans best. Some of kits will give you this option to select - if not please add a comment to the notes 'NO HOLES'.
